Wet-hulled — a method unique to this archipelago, where the bean is stripped of its outer layer while still moist, producing a body and depth that no other process replicates. Low acidity. Full presence. The kind of coffee that doesn't announce itself quietly.

The Koperasi Surya Abada cooperative in Kayumas brings together over 180 smallholder farmers, each working an average of two hectares of land between 1,000 and 1,600 metres. Fairtrade certified — not as a marketing badge, but as a reflection of how this cooperative has chosen to operate since its founding.

In the cup: dark chocolate that opens into a whisper of lime, then clove and cedar that linger like incense. Earthy, complex, completely its own thing.
