This coffee exists because neighbours talked to each other.

When the smallholder farmers of Ihombe tasted the original Mwankumbi coffee, they recognised something — both the quality of what their land could produce and the difficulty of doing it alone. So they formed a cooperative. Not a corporation. Not an investment. A group of farmers who decided that together they could do what none of them could do apart.

That cooperative has since become one of the most important economic pillars in the region, inspiring others across Tanzania to follow the same path.

In the cup: complex and bright, with a crisp citrus acidity that cuts clean and a medium body that carries it with elegance. The kind of coffee that rewards attention — the more carefully you drink it, the more it gives back.
